Mr Dutton said in a media conference, Australia should pursue the United States model as it provides “interoperability with the Americans” and there would be “more” US submarines in the Indo-Pacific than British ones. Mr Conroy said the Opposition Leader’s comments are “incredibly irresponsible” and he is “either being mischievous or is not privy to the latest information.”
