In a debate, Labor leader Chris Minns accused Liberal Premier Dominic Perrottet of throwing money around he said the state can’t afford.
In regular political life, Liberal leaders demand budget discipline and their Labor opponents promise benefits for the masses.

By arguing NSW can’t afford Perrottet’s spending, Minns can logically assert, which he did in the debate, that Perrottet’s promises not to sell more government businesses are lies.
