Millions of Australians will enjoy blue skies and warm weather for the Anzac Day public holiday, with fine conditions expected across the majority of the country.

Several dawn services across the country had a slightly soggy start, including in Brisbane where light showers put a modest dampener on proceeding.

More northern parts of the state, including in tropical Queensland, will see wetter conditions throughout the day. The dawn service in Brisbane was off to a slightly cool and soggy start, but temperatures are expected to improve throughout the day. Picture: NCA NewsWire / Glenn Campbell For those wanting to commemorate the public holiday in the country’s south-west, it’ll be a slightly different story, with almost winter-like weather expected.
