It's going to be a cold start to May
Ireland will experience a mostly dry and calm bank holiday Monday, with parts of the country expected to see highs of 15C.
Met Eireann is forecasting a cloudy Monday, and some showery outbreaks of rain are to affect parts of Ulster. Highest temperatures will range between 9C and 15C."Whilst there will be a good deal of dry and calm weather some showery outbreaks of rain will affect Ulster with just isolated showers elsewhere.Misty rain will hit parts of the country on what will be a mostly dry Monday night.
A spokesperson said: "Some bright or sunny spells on Tuesday with well scattered showers - Munster and east Ulster will see most of these."Highest temperatures 9C to 14C, mildest across the midlands and south Connacht, in light southeast breezes."Widespread showers may lead to some flooding on Thursday, with parts of the country at risk of experiencing thunder and hail showers.Friday will be calmer with sunny spells, but temperatures won't exceed 11C.
