Met Éireann has issued a wind warning for Mayo and Donegal
The warning comes into effect at 7am on Thursday and is valid until 6pm on Thursday evening.
Met Éireann has warned of south to southwest winds which will grow in strength on Thursday bringing with them gusts of up to 90-100km/h. There's also marine warnings in place with both a gale and a small craft warning issued on Wednesday. Elsewhere in the country, Thursday promises to be a wet and windy day with outbreaks of rain and drizzle spreading eastwards.
