Argentina defeated defending champions France in a penalty shootout in one of arguably the most dramatic and breath-taking matches ever seen at the World Cup.

As was the nature of the match, another turn ensued when Mbappe was sent to the spot once again when the youngster's shot caught the arm of Gonzalo Montiel.
The final whistle blew and the teams were sent to halfway with a penalty shootout needed to decide the World Cup Final for just the third time in history.
