The historic Aberdeen Pavilion will house the ever-popular Patch, where good spirits will flow as fans — and perhaps some of the curlers themselves — gather over drinks to talk before and after the games.
It’s not ideal, of course, but Goudie says the ability to stage an extended marquee international event is a shining example of the value of having a complex as complete as TD Place/Lansdowne Park. Ever the optimist, he also says the temporary move could help provide a glimpse into the future of the next phase of the area.
