Meghan Markle has not returned to the UK since 2022 and has no plans to do so in the future, with the Duchess of Sussex reportedly refusing to set foot in England again.
Prince Harry has returned to the UK alone once again, leaving his wife Meghan Markle behind. The Duke of Sussex flew into London on Tuesday to attend a celebration for the Invictus Games.
Since stepping back from Royal duties in 2020, Meghan has only visited the UK three times. One of these visits was for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee in June 2022, where she and Harry received a less than warm welcome. According to recent reports, Prince William and Princess Kate attempted a reconciliation effort with Meghan and Harry, by inviting them to bring their kids, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, to the UK for a visit. However, Meghan is believed to have declined the request firmly.
The authur also claimed that Meghan decided to give the King's Coronation last May a miss because of her unwillingness to "dive back into the soap opera of the court". In a conversation with Good Morning America earlier this year in February, Harry stated: "So my family and my life in California is as it is. I have got other trips planned. That would take me through the UK or back to the UK, so you know, I'll stop in and see my family as much as I can."
