And while she got off to a slow start, wearing outfits that were swathed in shades of white and beige, the Duchess of Sussex eventually began to embrace pattern. And on Sunday, she was at it again—this time, slipping on a blue skirt that paid homage to her Nigerian heritage.
Markle recently found out that she's 43-percent Nigerian, and revealed that the results of her genealogy test had her rethinking her wardrobe. "I very quickly got the memo that I need to wear more color, so I can fit in with all of you and your incredible fashion!" she said during her a panel appearance on May 11, alongside Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Director-General of the World Trade Organization.
