A Palace executive expressed doubt that the country is already experiencing the second wave of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic.
In an interview during the send-off of the first batch of those who availed themselves of the Balik-Probinsiya Program on Wednesday, Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea said President Duterte did not announce that the country is already seeing the second wave of the disease.“Dinadasal natin, malakas tayo siguro magdasal. ‘Wag natin i-expect, ‘wag natin asahan pwede ba? Mahirapan tayo ,” he added.
The entire country is under different levels of community quarantine to contain the spread of COVID-19. Cebu City and Mandaue City are under the enhanced community quarantine while Metro Manila and eight other areas have transitioned to the modified ECQ .
