Nguyen said both her and her family feel lucky to have gotten the opportunity to live and work in Newfoundland and Labrador for the past five or six years.
“I never would have thought I'd fall in love with it as much as I have, and while we miss our home and people in Toronto, we have a hard time leaving between seasons,” Nguyen said. “I don't drive and I appreciate how accessible and breathtaking the nature is out here and how good that is for the mind and spirit. And, I've never worked with a crew as lovely and hardworking as the one we have on Hudson & Rex. They very much feel like my family away from home and so much of the show's success has to do with the work they do behind the scenes.”4.
