Maxis is expanding its fibre connectivity network to cover 12,000 residential and commercial premises in Penang Island and Butterworth. This includes Penang Technology ParkBertam and Penang International Exchange

Maxis has entered a partnership with Ideal Property Group to expand its fibre broadband offering to more homes and businesses in Penang. With this partnership, Maxis says it will leverage its own fibre build to deliver a superior internet experience and offer attractive fibre propositions to mixed developments in Penang Island and Butterworth.
