SHAH ALAM, Aug 23 — The collaboration between the Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation and the Selangor State Development Corporation through the organisation of Selangor Export Day 2023 is expected to produce quality entrepreneurs and further increase the number of local exporters, especially in Selangor.
“This collaboration is quite important because we want to produce more exporters in the country, especially in Selangor. When our entrepreneurs are successful on the world stage, it can help the country’s financial resources as they will pay taxes and the proceeds will go back to the people,” he said at a press conference in conjunction with Selangor Export Day 2023 at the Shah Alam Convention Centre here today.
Mohd Mustafa added that Selangor is in a strategic location and various types of investors can be brought to the state. “We expect the increase in exports can start here, with the provision of products that investors need and at the same time they can learn to export their products after this,” he said.
