MASwings, the Pulse of Borneo and a subsidiary of Malaysia Aviation Group, has launched its new twice weekly direct flight from Miri to Long Banga under its Public Services Obligation (PSO) effective March 23, this year.

The introduction of this new direct service will provide convenience for local communities in facilitating their movement to support small businesses and for leisure travel, while also helping to boost the community’s tourism industry by opening new avenues of economic development in the rural touch points.

MASwings’ twice weekly direct service from Miri to Long Banga will operate via the DHC6-400 Twin Otter and is available on Thursdays and Saturdays. Additionally, passengers also have the option to fly to Long Banga from Miri via Marudi, which operates one flight every Tuesday.
