Defence Minister Richard Marles has delivered a grim warning over the deteriorating global strategic environment as he flags a record military build-up in Australia.
Mr Marles said possible acquisitions flagged in the DSR along with the acquisition of AUKUS submarines would see Australia’s investment in military assets and defence hit record levels.

Mr Marles said the process between the United Kingdom, the United States and Australia had been “genuinely” collaborative as he flagged a “three-way joint solution”.
