West Australian premier MarkMcGowanMP was among those forced into isolation overnight after visiting a COVID exposure site in Perth’s south at the weekend. 7NEWS

Rapid antigen test screening is being rolled out at emergency departments in public hospitals in Perth and the South West from Monday.Anyone who has COVID symptoms or has been to a known exposure site will be tested to help reduce the spread in hospitals.

WA’s triple dose vaccination rate is now above 44 per cent, according to vaccine commander and deputy police commissioner Gary Dreibergs.Mr Dreibergs on Monday announced a third dose “vaccination blitz”, with an extra 40,000 appointments made available at state-run clinics over two weeks.
