President Ferdinand Marcos Jr . and his family will celebrate Christmas in Manila, the Presidential Communications Office said. “Manila. That’s the plan,” said PCO chief Cesar Chavez. The First Family and their relatives also spent Christmas last year with a celebration at Malacañang. In one of his vlogs early this year, Marcos said that his New Year’s resolution was to spend more time with his family.
“Ang talagang New Year’s resolution simple lang - to spend more time with my family at hindi ko na sila halos nakikita dahil siyempre busy tayo, busy rin sila,” the chief executive said in his vlog last January 6. Marcos’ most recent foreign trip was to the United Arab Emirates last November for a working visit. December 24 and December 31 are special non-working holidays, while December 25 and January 1 are regular holidays.
