PRESIDENT-elect Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr. will be attending the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Summit in Thailand this November, his camp announced Wednesday.The invitation was personally extended by Thai Chargé d' Affaires Thawat Sumitmor during a courtesy call of envoys from the Association of Southeast Asian Nations to the incoming leader last Monday.

The 2022 APEC Summit, the first face-to-face holding of the event since 2018, will also be Marcos Jr.'s first official participation with other heads of states as Philippine president.With the theme 'Open. Connect.
