President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Sunday wished Filipino Muslims well as they observe Al-Isra Wal Mi'raj 2025, encouraging them to pursue diligence and perseverance to achieve success.Al-Isra Wal Mi’raj 2025 is an event sacred to Muslims as it marks the miraculous night journey and ascension to the heavens of the Prophet Muhammad, the Office of the President said.

"His miraculous journey to find greater spiritual truth, knowledge, and revelation reflects the deep commitment of the faithful to understand the significance and purpose of their continuing traditions of faith," he added.Marcos then encouraged Pinoy Muslims: "As you venerate this historic miracle through supplication and prayer, may its essence inspire among the Muslim faithful the value of perseverance through hardship and grief.
