Maple Leafs won't have Jarnkrok, Rielly, Brodie versus Montreal, backup goalie to be determined:
“Everybody’s got bumps and bruises and things that they’re dealing with at this time of year,” Keefe said. “Giving them the day, which hopefully provides an opportunity for everything to settle for them.”After suffering a head injury on April 2 when Lucas Raymond of the Detroit Red Wings slid into him, Murray has not been on the ice, but the Leafs intended to have him back up Ilya Samsonov against the Canadiens.
Goalies Andrew D’Agostini and Brendan Bonello were on the ice with the Leafs for the morning skate. One, in all likelihood, would be the emergency backup on Saturday. In that case, the Leafs potentially could go one goalie short. After the game on Saturday, the Leafs will finish the regular season with a three-game trip against Florida, Tampa Bay and the New York Rangers.
