South Australia Premier Peter Malinauskas says there can be “no doubt” the AUKUS opportunity of building nuclear submarines in the state represents the “greatest opportunity”.

“Up to 5,500 people employed directly, right here in Osborne, to build the most complex machines that have ever been built in human history,”

Mr Malinauskas said during a press conference on Monday.“South Australia is not just excited about that task, we are already gearing up for it.”
