Union members working for Loblaw Companies voted on a strike mandate, with contract negotiations still ongoing. Nearly 100 per cent voted yes.
Union president Jeff Traeger said a comprehensive and cohesive offer has not been received from the company so far. He added thatAs for a strike, that isn’t off the table. The union, Traeger said, will not bargain past the contract expiry date.
