BATU PAHAT: Mangsa banjir di daerah ini menurun sedikit kepada 439 orang setakat 8 malam tadi berbanding 444 orang pada 4 petang, menurut Jawatankuasa Pengurusan Bencana Negeri .
JPBN dalam kenyataan memaklumkan hanya tinggal lima pusat pemindahan sementara yang beroperasi, dan menempatkan 122 keluarga. Lima PPS itu ialah Sekolah Kebangsaan Seri Medan yang menempatkan 240 penduduk; Sekolah Agama Seri Bertam ; Dewan Orang Ramai Yong Peng ; Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan Cina Hua Min ; dan SA Seri Comel .
