“We started tandem biking together three years ago. And this year, François started track and field with the Special Olympic Program. I have been doing triathlons for four years. Tandem biking was a way for me to get training in when I didn’t have a babysitter,” explains Roy. “He doesn’t get goals, points or scoring in baseball or soccer. And rules need to be simple. So, biking and running are a good fit for him.”Roy wanted to try an activity where her son could participate, so he can have a whole and positive life, and the TriLobster Triathlon seemed the perfect fit.
