KUALA LUMPUR: The body of a man who went missing in Sungai Pisang at Batu 12, Gombak on Sunday (Feb 12) has been found at a water catchment area of Sungai Kerdas.
Selangor Fire and Rescue Department director Datuk Norazam Khamis said the man was found some 10km from where he went missing on Tuesday ."We discovered the body at 10.34am on Tuesday," he said when contacted.
It was previously reported that the search and rescue operation to locate the missing man was extended to an 8km radius from the scene.In the incident, the victim and his friend were bathing in the river before being carried away by strong currents following heavy rain.
