“As a result, the doctor did not proceed with an abortion and the victim was left to see out her pregnancy,” Justice Barr said. “One of the three women received a carer’s payment from Centrelink, despite not caring for the victim.” On August 20, 2018, the girl was found in an “extremely anxious” state, bent over her bed with blot clots in her underwear.Justice Barr described the girl’s situation as “horrible”.“The actual birth was clearly very traumatic for a young teenager who did not have the psychological resources to deal with the very stressful situation.”He was arrested on December 14, 2021 and remanded in custody.“You told your counsel that your mother did not want you around,” he said.
