Timothy Whyatt, 30, says his benefits were stopped for nine months in 2016 and he saw his debts spiral as a result
A disabled man has revealed how he racked up £15,000 in debts after his disability benefits were stopped for nine months.The DWP claimed Timothy missed his face-to-face consultation for his Personal Independence Payment despite Timothy saying he was not told about it.His PIP was eventually reinstated but on the lower rate of just £280 a month, reports the Stoke Sentinel.
