A video that has since gone viral on social media, captured a man who allegedly set a mobile phone shop on fire because his love proposal was rejected. As Bernama reported, Hilir Perak district police chief ACP Ahmad Adnan Basri said a report of the 3.19pm incident was lodged by a 46-year-old local woman who is also the shop employee.
Hilir Perak district police chief ACP Ahmad Adnan Basri Ahmad Adnan also added that the shop had suffered a loss of RM100,000 and the suspect suffered burns to his face, hands and legs.
