Toronto police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a suspect wanted in connection to a sexual assault investigation in midtown.
, police said the 29-year-old victim was travelling northbound on TTC 307 bus from King Street West. The suspect, an adult man, was also riding the bus.
Officers said the woman exited the bus, followed along by the suspect. Later, the man chased the victim on foot and sexually assaulted her. The suspect then, police said, left the scene with the woman’s phone, causing the woman to follow the man. Officers said the woman was again sexually assaulted by the man before breaking free from the suspect and fleeing the scene.
The suspect has been described as 5’10, bald with thick dark eyebrows. He was last seen wearing a grey toque, jacket, a blue surgical mask and pants.Police are urging anyone with information to come forward and contact police at 416-808-7474.
