MELAKA: A 29-year-old man walked into the Tangga Batu fire station and asked firefighters to help remove a steel ring that he recently put on his finger.
The man wandered into the station and asked a group of on-shift firefighters to remove the ring because it had become stuck on the little finger of his right hand.
Tangga Batu Fire and Rescue Department operation commander Roslan Manas said the man walked into the station at 8.45pm on Thursday .Roslan said the operation to remove the ring took about 20 minutes and the man was allowed to return home once the operation was successful. He said the operation was delicate and his men had to be careful to cut the ring to avoid hurting the man.
Roslan also said the man had said that the ring had been stuck on his finger for the previous three days.
