(Reuters) -Microsoft has agreed to pay AI startup Inflection about $650 million in cash in an unusual deal that would allow Microsoft to use Inflection's models and hire most of the startup's staff including its co-founders, a person familiar with the matter told Reuters on Thursday.
PETALING JAYA: Men’s doubles pair Man Wei Chong-Tee Kai Wun may have strengthened their claim for a spot in the Thomas Cup Finals squad after storming into the quarter-finals of the Swiss Open in Basel.
It was the Malaysian pair’s first appearance in a quarter-finals since finishing runners-up at the Arctic Open in Finland last October. They went down 21-17, 19-21, 15-21 to in-form world No. 24 Supak Jomkoh-Kittinupong Kedren of Thailand in 64 minutes.
