A 38-year-old man was arrested within 12 hours of assaulting and robbing someone at the back lane of Lorong 41 Geylang.
They added:"Preliminary investigations revealed that the man had allegedly assaulted the victim and robbed him of his cash, a mobile phone, and a phone cover containing his work permit and ez-link card."Through ground enquiries, officers from Bedok Police Division established the man's identity and arrested him within 12 hours of the report.
