Police say the man is undergoing surgery after he was bitten while collecting crocodile eggs on a remote station.
A man is undergoing surgery for serious injuries after he was attacked by a crocodile in a remote part of the Northern Territory.Police say his right leg was wounded and have described his injuries as "serious but not life-threatening"NT Police say the man was bitten on a remote station near Daly River, a town about 220 kilometres south of Darwin, while collecting crocodile eggs early today.
"The man is currently undergoing surgery for his injuries, which are considered serious but not life-threatening," the statement said.
