KELOWNA, B.C. — Police say a man was seriously injured after being run over by a truck near a homeless camp in Kelowna, B.C.

Police say those at the scene aided the victim until the fire department and paramedics could safely take him to the hospital, where he is receiving care.“The area near the accident was populated by several individuals living in temporary shelters and tents.
