KENINGAU: A 55-year-old man, who was reported lost in the forest area of Kampung Papar Baru Sook, safely returned to his home on Tuesday.

The victim was reported to have gone out walking in the forest of the village at 8pm on Monday and could not find his way out.The Sook Fire and Rescue Station received a call at 10.52pm and an 11-member team, led by Operation Commander Ranizan Samirin, rushed to the village with machinery. A search and rescue operation was carried out until the night and suspended at 12.44am.
