Authorities arrested a man after he punched a woman who was waiting for a ride in Mandaue City , Cebu, according to Nikko Sereno’s Monday report on "Saksi."Sereno also reported that the suspect also punched the traffic officer who responded to the incident.“Nanuntok, timing talaga na andiyan ang babaeng bagong hinatid ng kanyang asawa, naghihintay ng masasakyan, before siya nakasakay.
Before siya nakasakay, biglang sinuntok siya sa tiyan,” said Hyll Retuya, officer-in-charge department head of the Traffic Enforement Agency of Mandaue City.The suspect struggled and attempted to escape when authorities were arresting him, which led to the suspect hitting the team leader in the face.The team leader, who retaliated with a blow that resulted to the suspect sustaining a bruise on his face, returned to his work after undergoing a medical checkup.
