A 23-year-old man was arrested by operatives of the Kabankalan City Police Station for illegal drug possession at Old Stockyard, Barangay 1, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental, around 12:16 a.m. on Wednesday, December 11. The suspect was identified as Jake Desabille, a resident of Barangay Suay, Himamaylan City. According to Kabankalan City Police Station records, the operatives were conducting a mobile patrol when they spotted the suspicious individual sitting on the back seat of a tricycle.
They observed him throwing something into the passenger seat. Upon inspection, the police discovered a coin purse containing an improvised tooter with traces of suspected shabu, along with other non-drug items. Desabille was promptly arrested and informed of his constitutional rights. The suspect is currently detained at the custodial facility of the Kabankalan City Police Station.
