The driver was seen standing nearby and, at one point, shouting and irate at St. John’s Regional firefighters and Eastern Health paramedics.Electricity was expected to be out in the area for several hours as Newfoundland Power personnel assessed the damage and repaired the pole.One man was taken into custody after his pickup crashed into and cracked off a utility pole in Paradise Sunday night.
