A major western Sydney road is closed after the crash early this morning.
At about 2.30am, emergency services were called to Bardia after reports a car had crashed into a fence along Campbelltown Road.
The front seat passenger in the car, a 59-year-old man, was trapped in the car for more than an hour until he could be freed by Fire and Rescue officers.He was taken to hospital in a critical condition.Campbelltown Road is closed between Borneo Street and Soldiers Road is closed in both directions and is expected to remain closed for some hours.Any witnesses or anybody with dashcam footage is urged to contact Campbelltown Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
