An Italian man whose body was found in a wheelie bin in north London died from a drug overdose, police have said.
The body of Erik San-Filippo, 23, was discovered in the container behind a Waitrose in Islington on May 11.After his death, San-Fillipo’s mum Carmen De Caro paid tribute to him, saying: ‘He was our prince. I am destroyed.’ Gerardo Rossi, 52, from Islington, is currently in custody charged with preventing the lawful and decent burial of a dead body.
