A man was fatally shot at Overtime Sports Bar and Grill on Notre Dame Avenue at approximately 10:30 p.m. Friday.
At around midnight, Greater Sudbury Police Service tweeted that there was a heavy police presence in the area and a K9 track was underway. As of the latest update at approximately 5 a.m., police indicated the shooter fled and had yet to be located. Anyone at the bar at the time of the incident or has information or video that might assist in the investigation is asked to phone police at 705-675-9171.
Meanwhile, Overtime Sports Bar and Grill issued a Facebook post this morning saying they will be closed this morning to “provide any assistance required during this difficult time.”
