KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB) saw robust passenger traffic growth in May 2024, with a total of 11.2 million passengers across its 39 airports in the country and an international airport in Turkiye.
KUALA LUMPUR: A restaurant worker was charged in the Sessions Court here on Tuesday with three counts of terrorism-related offences.
The charge is framed under Section 130J of the Penal Code for possessing terrorism-related material, which provides for a maximum prison sentence of 40 years or with a fine and forfeiture of any property that has been used or intended to be used in committing the offence, upon conviction. The accused is also alleged to have admitted to being a member of the Islamic State by performing a bai'ah ceremony with the group leader, Abu Hafs AL Hashimi Al-Qurashi, to support the terrorist group.
