Toronto police have arrested a man in relation to the daytime shooting that killed a Leslieville mother last week.
Police said Thursday they have charged 32-year-old Damian Hudson, of Toronto with second-degree murder in the shooting that took place on July 7 at Queen Street East and Carlaw Avenue. Police were called to the area last week just before 12:30 p.m. for reports of a shooting and said three people had been involved in a verbal and physical altercation before shots were fired.Life-saving efforts were attempted, police have said, and the woman was rushed to a Toronto trauma centre, but was ultimately pronounced dead.
