A man has been arrested after concerns he was approaching children and shoppers in Blackburn town centre.

A woman shared a message on social media on Sunday saying a man had approached her children. She wrote: "Please be aware. He’s been detained but if he ends up around town again it could happen again."In a statement yesterday , Blackburn and Darwen Police said a 40-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of Public Order Offences and remains in custody for questioning.
