Man arrested after stabbing wife to death

A man allegedly stabbed his wife to death in a jealous frenzy at a vegetable stall on Jalan Pahlawan in Kepayan, Saturday.

She succumbed to her injuries following the 1.30pm incident. Acting City Police Chief Supt Kalsom Idris said preliminary findings revealed that the woman was assisting her sister at the vegetable stall when the man approached her. The man stabbed her multiple times before she managed to escape. The severely injured woman was rushed to the hospital in an ambulance but succumbed to her injuries at 2.21pm.The man was arrested later that day, around 8.30pm.
