Heavily-armed police stormed a suburban Melbourne street on Friday afternoon following fears a man was brandishing a weapon inside a home.
Police, including the critical incident response team, rushed to Victoria Street, Seddon , in Melbourne 's inner-west, about 2pm on Friday.
Paramedics were also called to the scene, as horrified residents watched the incident unfold from behind the cordoned off area.
