A man is facing an assault charge following a dispute with a parking enforcement officer in Toronto.

Police claim the incident happened around 5 p.m. Monday in the area of St. Clair Avenue West and Dufferin Street. They say the officer was enforcing rush-hour rules in the area, and asked a driver to move his vehicle along.The driver is accused of moving the officer into a live lane of traffic and then striking the officer’s left hand .Huseyin A.
