Two drivers have died in a horror crash at Lincoln Gap in South Australia. 7NEWS
Acting superintendent Damien Eichner said the two deaths brought South Australia’s 2023 road toll to 26, more than double what it was for the same time last year.“This is significantly contributing to lives being lost and serious injuries which change people’s lives.
“These numbers are more than numbers, these are loved ones, these are family members, these are friends, these are children. Any life lost on our road is one too many.”He said given how serious the crash was, it was “extraordinary” that someone managed to survive. “We are thankful that we have not lost that life but they have suffered serious injuries and they will have a life-changing effect.”
