The deceased man was originally from Derry and has been named locally as Brian Campbell

Gardai, other emergency services and local mountain rescue volunteers received reports of an incident involving two male hillwalkers in the Poisoned Glen in Dunlewey, Co. Donegal at 1pm on Saturday afternoon.

One of the men was fatally injured in the fall.
