The Dior runway show was held at Mumbai’s Gateway of India monument, a ceremonial arch-monument built in the early 20th century in the style of 16th-century Gujarati architecture.
As for the designs, they celebrated Indian sartorial tradition. Spotted were Nehru collar shirting and sari-inspired gowns. Even a Dior Toile De Jouy fabric was reimagined with a tropical Indian landscape.. She grew up in Damansara, Petaling Jaya. Just last year, she tied the knot with entrepreneur Rami Aladdin. The couple's glamorous wedding took place in Langkawi, where Shikin was seen walking barefoot in a breathtaking wedding dress by local designer Alia Bastamam.
